Frequently asked questions

What is the dress code?

The wedding is black tie optional.

Is the wedding outside?

Yes! All of Saturday will be outdoors so please plan accordingly. Tip: for the ladies, we recommend block heels.

What can I expect for the weather?

August in Cody is usually warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures in the 80s. It’s usually pretty windy, and temperatures dip as the sun goes down.

Will there be transportation?

Yes, transportation will be provided for the events on Thursday and Saturday.

Thursday - Transportation will pick us up at Blanca Tatanka and drive to the Rodeo. We will then be picked up at the Rodeo when it ends to drive us back to town to the Silver Dollar

Saturday - Transportation will have designated pick up areas and drive everyone to the ranch. Transportation will then be provided back.

Will there be parking?

If you prefer to drive, there will be parking at the ranch. Please drive careful and be cautious of wildlife! There are no street lights and the roads are winding along the way.

Will I have cell service?

Cell service is extremely limited at the ranch. Think of it as a chance to disconnect and reconnect with each other! The mountains make a great excuse to put your phone down and enjoy the views!

Is there Uber in Cody?

Unfortunately, Uber hasn’t had the honor to make an appearance in Cody, yet! There are local cab companies that are great.

Cody Cab: 307-2728354

Cody’s Town Taxi: 307-250-3939

Explore Cody Transportation: 307-2547459

What can I expect for the Rodeo?

The Cody Nite Rodeo is a great experience that is about 1.5-2 hours long. Tickets? Make sure to bring a jacket as it can get cold some nights.

What can I expect for Sunday?

For those that are able to stay, brunch will be followed by our favorite thing that we like to call “River Happy Hour.” A little hair of the dog! We’ll pack some coolers, chairs, blankets, and drive down to the river where we’ll BBQ and enjoy the views. Feel free to bring / wear a bathing suit - the water gets cold!
